Gavin is known widely in the sports industry for his previous work on the Football Coded Grading System which is a scientific method of developing and assessing elite football technical skills. His football coaching business Football Coded had licenses with football powerhouse Goals Soccer Centres and worked alongside Arsenal soccer schools. For the development of the Football Coded Grading System, Gavin achieved a scientific award nomination at a European Parliament project in Caserta Italy.
